I’ve been wanting to make these for some time. I didn’t add caramel to them, but next time I will for sure. A layer of chewy goodness underneath the sweet white chocolate? Yes please! As it was, I didn’t have the supplies for caramel, so we stuck with plain old candy coated pretzels. The kids didn’t know the difference, and they were thrilled!
I used Almond Bark. I have never used it before, and it was great. It melted easily and spread nicely. I had a couple of extra 9-10 year olds on hand and they were happy to help. We made quick work of the dipping.
I followed the directions on the package for the smaller pretzels and just dumped a handful in the candy and stirred them around until they were coated, then used a fork to spread them out on the paper. The mound in the back of the picture is the last batch. The candy was getting stiff and so I just left it in a mound. The kids didn’t care. 😉
As my little taste tester said, “It’s Da-wicious!”
What fun new things have you been up to lately?

Amy
