This is the second table topper in the Black/White/Red series. It has cleaner lines on the outside, but it has much more interest inside the borders with smaller squares. I quilted it along the lines, about 1/4 inch in from the seams. It gives it a really fresh/modern look. This one actually went to my Second cousin for her bridal shower. She was so excited that it matched her kitchen. Thank goodness for bridal registrys and reading between the lines.…
This is the new table topper I just finished this week. I think it turned out very beautifully. (don’t I have a great model?) The quilted topper measures 41″ square and features a charm pack of Santorini by Lila Tueller for Moda. This is what the quilting on the back looks like. You can just see the flower I quilted over the five large colored squares. I will be making more quilted goodies for sure! What Fun!…
When I showed her the table topper I made for the fourth, my Grandma requested I make a floral one for her. While I think this might be a little to “hip” for most grandmothers, it suits my grandma just right. I think it screams summer and I just love how it turned out. (so did she btw)…
