*Fabric for these DIY Travel pouches was provided by Riley Blake Designs, but the project and opinions are all mine.
I have been doing a little bit of traveling this summer and while I have plenty of zipper pouches on hand, I found myself wishing I had a set that all coordinated together. And then I realized that I had the perfect opportunity with my post on the Vintage Adventure Fabric blog tour!! What better use for this adventure themed fabric??
Bev from Flamingo Toes had knocked it out of the park with her debut line with Riley Blake. The colors, darling themes and fun prints make this a line that is both versatile and vibrant. I am sure there will be more projects out of this fabric coming soon!
I started off with the middle size DIY Travel pouch – which is my makeup pouch tutorial you can find over on Polkadot Chair. Then I made a bigger version, which also has a laminated inside and vinyl coated bottom, and a smaller fully cotton version.
This Pattern is now available in my Etsy shop. Find the pattern here.
I love that they all nestle inside each other, which makes them super handy for storing when I’m not out on the road.
I love that these DIY travel pouches will hold almost anything I could want for my trips. And they MATCH!! I’m so happy about that it’s ridiculous! 😉
I can’t wait to put these DIY travel pouches to good use, now I just need to decide where to take them first!
Do you have your Vintage Adventure fabric yet? What are you planning on making with yours? Let me know in a comment below!
