I was gifted the opportunity to look through an advanced copy of the book for this blog tour and it is absolutely delightful!
I sewed up my pillow using Claus and Co fabric by Melissa Mortenson for Riley Blake Designs. The Present block is a fun way to show off your favorite feature prints! I will be releasing the pillow tutorial next week- so stay tuned for that! Use any 12″ block and turn it into a pillow that fits a 20″ pillow form. Such a fun way to turn those orphan blocks into something useful!
I also used my favorite Hidden Zipper Pillow Back tutorial. It’s such an easy and polished way to finish a pillow. You can find the full YouTube video tutorial here. This is another fun place to show off a larger scale print. And who doesn’t want a pillow to be a beautiful on the back as it is on the front? This method for making pillow backs is easier than you think!
