{Mom-day} An Update

What have I been up to lately?  Well lots of things.
You know about the Boutique

And this week I  found out I was accepted in the Holiday Gift Show for this boutique too, so I’m pretty excited about that, but it means 5 more weeks of crazy busy working. 🙂 

Then there was the triathalon, I was working hard, training- and super excited about it.  Then I found out I wouldn’t be able to do it because it conflicted with a choir I had already agreed to participate in that same day.  🙁  I was really sad until they agreed to let me push off my winning entry until next year- so now I have a whole year to get ready to not drown instead of six weeks.  I am pretty happy about that too!

The choir I was in was for our church’s women’s organization’s annual worldwide broadcast.  So, if you’re LDS and were watching the General Relief Society’s Annual Broadcast, and had a sneaking suspicion that you saw me singing in the choir, you were right. 🙂  You can see one of the songs I sang in here.  You’ll see me front and center at the top of the screen right about the 2 minute 15 second mark. 🙂  It was a wonderful experience, but a long day.  We had to be on the buses at 12 and didn’t get home until 10 that night.  But it was something I will never forget, and an opportunity I was so thankful to have.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Autumn Link party for Point of View.  It was so much fun to see so many wonderful ideas.  Look for our feature posts to be up later this week.
