An Announcement

Welcome to Monday!! So happy to be here! 🙂 (If you’re sensing sarcasm, you’re right on target) 
Actually I am pretty happy to be here because I have something really fun to tell you.  But, first some background…
Blogging has led me to some pretty fun things, but the most wonderful part of blogging is meeting new people.  One of the first people I “met” was Gwen from the amazing blog, Gwenny Penny.  She and I hit it off right away.  We have a pretty similar background in math and science.  We tend to enjoy similar projects.  And it turns out we share one more thing- Our birth month.  In fact, our birthdays are only a week apart.  And, we were born in the same year.  (I’d tell you what year that was, but I’m not going to “out” Gwen. 😉 )  When we realized we shared a birthday- we decided it was time to celebrate!  So without further ado:

 We are going to celebrate!  And we decided that the best way to celebrate was to take some of the projects that were sitting in our “I totally want to make that” file and finally just make it.  Things that are just for us and just for fun.  So, that’s what we’re going to do.  Mark your calendars and join us for a week of fantastic ideas and lot of fun.  Plus there may just be a give away involved- after all, what’s a party without a favor?
