Embroidered Word Ornaments PDF Pattern

A simple, handmade, heartfelt holiday season is what these Embroidered Word Ornaments evoke for me. I love the clean lines, simple embroidery and sweet messages each of these mini stitchings holds. I am so thrilled to finally present this pattern for sale to the world, it has been years in the making! These ornaments first made their appearance in this post sharing how to make my Joyful Snowflake table runner.

Requiring only three basic embroidery stitches- back stitch, satin stitch and French knots these ornaments are simple to make. While the stitches are not taught directly in the pattern, I will be publishing You Tube and Instagram videos outlining exactly how to do them.

I am delighted to now offer a stitch along! Sign up for emails with links to video tutorials along with tips and tricks for completing your ornaments! Also, follow along on Instagram with me @amerooniedesigns and the hashtag #WordOrnamentSAL to see all the gorgeous ornaments!

Next, as a bonus, I am offering this FREE pattern on the blog Diary of a Quilter. Add it to your ornament set, or just make this one.

These Embroidered Word Ornaments look beautiful grouped together on a tree, and paired with my The Best Gift mini quilt, they make a display full of meaning and handmade goodness!

For even more holiday sewing check out my free Jelly Roll Stocking pattern! Finally, if a more colorful Christmas project is what you’re looking for, I have lots of ideas in this DIY Holiday Makeover post.

Enjoy making up these beautiful keepsakes!

Happy Stitching!
