I know I totally missed “Theme”-day Thursday this week. (and last week too- it really is a good thing there aren’t any blogging police, I’d totally be busted.) 🙂 I hope you can forgive me. It’s not that I haven’t been working on stuff. I promise you I have, and I have a really fun announcement to make next week, along with some fun projects to reveal.
I recently won a give away (I know, right? I keep winning stuff, but where’s my Silhouette? 😉 ) from Kami at NoBiggie for some Elmer’s craft supplies. Part of the give away is that you have to make something with the supplies and post it, so that’s what I’m working on today. Along with bags, a guest post somewhere else- it’s a surprise- and well, my house- it’s a wreck.
But, I wanted to take a second and feature this:
One of my readers, Amy from Sitting at our Kitchen Table, made this skirt for her daughter’s birthday. I LOVE the fabrics (I think I have some stashed somewhere) and she commented that she thinks it looks like a cupcake- I agree. Darling! Not only is this a wonderful accomplishment for Amy, but for me as well. This is the first piece of clothing I have ever designed and created a pattern for. So, I’m pretty proud that it works. 🙂
Really lovely job Amy, Thanks for sharing it with me.
Well, I’m off to get my house picked up, grocery shopping done, and oh yeah, some crafting. 😉 What are you up to this weekend?
