Are you ready to PAR- TAY?!!?
I have been waiting for this week for a while. So excited to finally get to do some projects I’ve been wanting to do. The hardest part was waiting to show you, because I am so excited about each of these projects.
Up first is a project I fell instantly in love with. Vanessa from V. and Co. is simply amazing. I love every single one of her projects. This pillow is no different. Let me show you my version of her Shag Pillow:
OOOHHHH it’s like Buttah!
This pillow was so fun to make and her instructions were amazing and clear.
If you decide to make your own, this is the stack of pieces you will have. It seems overwhelming at first, but one piece of advice I would give you is to add as many pieces as you can. You will be tempted (at least I was) to spread them out a little, because you will think there are too many, but don’t- you will be much happier with the end result.
The only other advice- is to get lots of fabric, because once you make one, you will want to make more. And your two year old will want one, and your sister will too. š
And you won’t mind because it’s really not that hard.
And you’ll have this lovely, comfy pillow to reward you for your effort.
So, if you’re ready to make one, you can find the tutorial here.
But, before you go, you need to check out Gwen’s project, because you won’t want to miss this:
Isn’t this gorgeous? I love her fabric choices. To find out how she made it, head over to her blog.
You won’t be sorry!
I hope you’ll come back tomorrow and every day this week. There is so much more to come. And, Friday we are both hosting terrific give aways- you won’t want to miss out!
XOXO,
Amy
p.s. if you want to make sure you don’t miss out, follow through Google friend Connect or subscribe through a feed. We’d love to have you on this crazy ride. Linking up to Friday Flair at WhipperBerry, The Girl Creative: Just Something I Whipped up

May 18, 2011 at 1:38 amI'd probably see that big stack of fabric, then go buy one at the store. I'm lazy like that. Good thing you kept with it because your pillow looks so fun. I love the color you picked for the fabric.
