Give the gift of imagination with a Pretend Diaper Bag

One of my favorite things to listen to is the sound of happy chatter from my little ones as they lose themselves in their own imaginary world. Conversations, songs and even emergency cell phone calls all come to life as they try to make sense of real life through play. Which is why giving gifts that help expand their world makes me so happy. A pretend diaper bag along with all the accessories that come with it provides hours of imaginative play.

A simple diaper bag with pockets is a great way to practice your bag making skills on a small scale. You can find the full tutorial here on my blog. Designed with a single outer pocket and a split inside pocket there is enough detail to keep your little mommy in training happy without making it so much work to create you will begrudge her taking it outside once in a while.
