With reverse applique and just a bit of piecing this pillow has a sophisticated look while being fairly simple to execute. I am updating the post a bit from it’s original publication to reflect new measurements and clearer images. Bunny Hop Pillow Tutorial All seam allowances are 1/4″ unless otherwise indicated. The first thing I thought of when I saw this fabric was pink lemonade. It’s just so happy and bright. It was almost exactly 6 years ago that I first published this skirt tutorial.…

It’s an energy zapping, enthusiasm sucking, motivation destroying monster which has invaded my body leaving me with nothing but the desire to get back in bed and sleep. Which, I don’t have time for. 🙂 What I need to be doing is making more of these. My new Easter block sets with bunnies. The set only includes two bunnies, but I…

blocks Easter figurines holiday love Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day. Who doesn’t love LOVE? These are a couple of the blocks I do to commemorate the holiday meant for expressing our deepest heartfelt emotions. (or to make men finally tell the sweet women in their lives something nice!) And in keeping with the last post, these are the Easter blocks that I do. a dash of spring

Our friendly bunny, with a treat all his own. Here’s the whole set-up. This is another in the line of blocks I do. The bunny is handmade by me. I hand cut the letters out of textured cardstock, paint, sand and distress the blocks. The set is for sale. I added a small bit of hot glue on the bottom of the eggs so they will stand up in the different directions. Clever- no? (if you know anyone who might…
